cosmetiFULL builds software for the people who place cosmetics on the European and British markets: beauty brand owners, cosmetic manufacturers and safety assessors. It exists because the rules are public, complicated and unforgiving, and because hardly any of the companies that have to follow them has a regulatory department. Two apps are open today. LabelCheck reads a cosmetic label against the European rules, and against the British ones when Great Britain is one of the markets, before the artwork goes to print. ExpertDesk takes the regulatory question that comes up in the middle of a job. Every point LabelCheck raises comes with the rule it rests on, and the article of law whenever that rule has one.
Who is behind it
Claudio Nicodemo, founder. 30 years in the hair and beauty sector, and the chain seen from every side, one side at a time: six years behind a chair in a salon, then technical training for international brands, then distribution and wholesale across Europe, and private label last. Private label is the part few people can give a first-hand account of, because the product reaches the shelf under someone else’s name and the work behind it stays unsigned. That is the part he can talk about on the record. The company is Nicodemo & Signa Company Srl, on the trade register since 2003 under number J02/809/2003, VAT RO15617609.
How we can work together
We can talk live, answer in writing, record a podcast with you, or write the piece and hand it over for you to edit as you see fit. What goes out is yours. The names, and how to write them
The suite is cosmetiFULL, one word, lowercase c and capital FULL. The apps are called LabelCheck and ExpertDesk: two words joined, two capitals, every time. Use the app name rather than a description, and please write cosmetiFULL out in full, however tight the headline.
What we will talk about
The European cosmetics regulation, whether or not the piece names us. How small manufacturers stay compliant without a regulatory department. What artificial intelligence can and cannot do in a regulated sector. On any of these, what we give you comes with the article of law or the source behind it.
